I began playing guitar at 16, and I had a great teacher in Ray Smith at Tony Andrios School of Music, Footscray, Victoria. He was always fantastic to learn with, and showed enormous patience with a pupil who just wanted to do his own thing.

I spent the next 14 years just playing when I could, and dreaming of playing and singing on stage in front of an audience.

When I met my wife, she had friends that played in bands. I just tagged along to watch them. They did, however, invite people to get up and play with them. I decided one night that I was going to get up and do it too. That first night that I got up changed me forever. I'd only started playing the intro to my first song when almost everyone in the crowd got up and started dancing, I was hooked from then on. It's an amazing feeling having  so many people enjoy what you do. It went so well I was asked to become a permanent member of the band from that night on.

After getting together with others that played on that first night, I started joining bands to fulfil my ambitions. I started gigging at clubs and pubs in Melbourne with numerous bands and had a great time doing what I love.

In 1993 my wife and I moved back to her home city of the Gold Coast, I immediately started looking for like minded muso's to jam and gig with. After playing with the bands Steel Rain and Smokehouse. I joined together with a long time friend from Melbourne, and we formed the duo Undercover. We played at loads of Gold Coast clubs, and even had a regular 6 weekly gig at the Point Lookout Bowls Club on Stradbroke Island that lasted for 2 years.

When that ended I decided to go solo. After 8 years playing corporate and private gigs, I'm back on the club scene and hope to see all of you real soon to enjoy my music. Come along and sing and dance to great music that you'll know and love.
